COSMOTE SMART HOME: VIRTUAL REALITY APPLICATION

Cosmote is part of OTE Group, owned by Deutsche Telecom, and is the largest telecom provider in Greece, as well as one of the largest in South-East Europe. Bolt Virtual has a longstanding collaboration with the companies of OTE Group: in the last two years we have designed and implemented more than a dozen VR events for the Group, and we are partners in a proposed research Project for testing the forthcoming 5G technologies. Cosmote has developed a new line of products around the ‘smart home’, a suite of products offering home automation. We collaborated with the marketing department of Cosmote in creating an immersive virtual reality experience, with a very strong interactive functionality, presenting the benefits of the smart home technology and its ability to improve the living conditions of the user.

ATHENS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: MARKETING OF THE NEW TERMINAL

The Athens International Airport partnered with Bolt Virtual in order to promote the new terminal it inaugurated in mid 2018. We created a custom virtual reality game, tailored to the promotional needs of the Airport, for the shops based in the new terminal. The passengers played the VR game, in systems provided by us and operated by our experienced staff, and had the opportunity to win prizes provided by the Airport.

RETAIL VISUALISATION VR

Bolt Virtual is currently developing a virtual reality software for the retail sector. The software is a comprehensive solution for real-time creation of store planograms, shelf merchandising and store redesign. By wearing a VR headset and inside a 360o immersive environment, where the user can freely walk and interact with objects, the retailers will be able to determine the best use of floor space, modify objects in the scene in real-time, and create bespoke environments and layouts, experiment with various shelf merchandising strategies, and run multiple tests with various layouts and product placements, allowing them to identify the best format to maximise customer experience and store revenue. The software is in initial development stage.
