ANCIENT OLYMPIA AND THE GREEK GAMES VR

'Ancient Olympia and the Greek Games VR' is a major title developed by Bolt Virtual during the last year. It includes a state-of-the-art 3D reconstruction of the sanctuary of Ancient Olympia and animations depicting the sport events of the Ancient Greek Games, as well as the environment in which the Games were taking place in the antiquity. Estimated release date: March 2019.

 
ARCHAEOLOGIST VR

'Archaeologist VR' is a casual game created for kids and teenagers up to 18 years old. It is used during the educational programmes and school visits organised by  Bolt Virtual, and it allows kids to get familiarised with the basic archaeological excavation & discovery techniques in a funny and experiential way.

 
HARVEST SIMULATOR VR

Harvest Simulator VR is the first game developed by Bolt Virtual which was released through Steam, the largest online game store. It is a casual farming game built exclusively for VR Headsets where you can cultivate your crops and grow your farm! interactive farming like never before, now in VR.

ART SOFTWARE AND EVENTS

We have worked with visual artists since the inception of our company. Bolt Virtual organised the first exhibition of original VR works of an individual artist in Athens, we have worked with the major Digital Arts Festival in Greece in developing the first collaborative VR creation (of 800 people) and we have created an audiovisual VR software of a major Greek visual artist.  

 
 
PIRATES ON DECK

The Oculus Quest is the new industry standard in standalone VR headsets. We are developing our first game for the Quest, 'Pirates on Deck'. Get on board and travel the seven seas. Enemy pirates and dangerous monsters are all over your ship! Don’t let anyone stand in your way. Shoot with your guns or battle with your cutlass. Master the cannons with your commands and crush enemy ships.

RESEARCH AND EUROPEAN PROJECTS

The company is currently participating at two EU-financed Projects: (a) A VR experience under the LIFE project “LIFE GRECABAT - Greek Caves and Bats: Management Actions and Change of Attitude” where we will create an immersive experience simulating the discovery of unexplored caves by speleologists  and (b) under the Erasmus+ Project “VR in School Education” we will develop a VR simulation of European youth council meetings with remote multiplayer capabilities.
